“Never trust a man who gets paid to take off his clothes for a living and then uses it as a pick-up line to get girls in bed with him.“
Maverick Kingston is a model. A hot hunky model. He’s known for his playboy reputation and his current “boss” is well aware. Maverick is on the cover of a New York Times bestselling authors book series, Rachel Meadows. Rachel has a book signing tour coming up for the exact series Maverick is on the cover of. She request him to be at each of her stops, one catch, he doesn’t fly. This is where Maverick meets Olivia.
Olivia Carpenter is the assistant to Rachel. Thanks to Olivia, she makes Rachel’s life flawless, even if it means road tripping with the likes of Maverick Kingston. The rule is Rachel told both of them that she did not want any fraternizing amongst them because it would only cause problems. Olivia see’s this as a no-brainer until she sets out on the road with Mr Kingston.
My Rating 8.5/10
This book had me laughing, and mad. I wanted to boot Rachel in the ass for treating Olivia like she does. But the ending well pays off! Mavericks character really surprised me and Olivia really irritated me at a point. It’s easy to say I was Team Maverick by chapter ten.
Now I’m off to meet Presley back at the Circle B Ranch. I have to see how my Bishop boys are doing. (No clue what I’m talking about check out the series I reviewed before Falling for the Bad Boy.)
